LAste Pillerkaar
Seattle Laste Pillerkaar sai alguse aastal 2011. Kui lapsed avastasid kui lõbus Seattle Tuhandest Tuulest rahvatansijatel on, tahtsid ka nemad osa saada toredatest mängudest, lauludest ja tantsudest. Sellest sündiski Seattle Laste Pillerkaar.
Lasped tulevad kokku korra nädalas Rootsi majja, kus me laulame, tanstime ja õpime eesti keelt ja kultuuri, ning mängime toredaid mänge. Lapsed esinevad ka kõigil eesti üritustel ja ka kohalikel festivalidel ning sündmustel.
Seattle Laste Pillerkaar was established in 2011. We grew out of the Seattle Estonian Folk dance group Tuhandest Tuulest as the dancers brought all their children to the dance practice every Sunday. Children had so much fun that we decided to have our own little school.
Children come together once a week for an hour. The lessons take place at the Swedish Cultural Center in Seattle. We dance, sing and play games. We learn about Estonia and Estonia culture and language. We also perform at all Estonian related events as well as local festivals and happening
